Few people know that Australia’s famous Oilskin was actually born at sea.  Sailors learnt that treating old sails with linseed and whale oil would produce incredible protective wet weather gear. Technology has come a long way since then, and Australian made Oilskin is engineered to keep the wearer dry in the heaviest of thunder storms, while being strong enough to withstand working life on the land.  Australian made Oilskin is produced from 100% Cotton, enabling the fabric to breathe.  This property lends the fabric to not only high performance wet weather gear, but stylish casual clothing such as jackets and vests as well.

MEASUREMENT

The back length is the measurement between base of the collar to base of the tail.

Please measure the dog that is going to wear the coat for an accurate fit.

·         Do not rely on the 'example breeds', these are to be used as a guide only.

·         Dogs of the same breed will have different sizes based on weight, age, stature and so forth.

·         To ensure a correct fit, please ensure that your dog is standing when you take their measurements.

·         If your measurements border on the maximum end of a size, or are a combination of two sizes, it is best to purchase the larger of the two sizes.

·         The black length can be primarily based on to choose the coat size, but the chest and neck measurements should be checked to make sure they are in within largest adjustable range. Some compromises in length may be considered to achieve a better option.

CARE

Remove soiling with a soft clothes brush & sponge with cold water. Heavier soiling: place on hanger & hose or rinse in cold water. Hang to dry naturally in shade & store in cool dry place. Do not machine wash, wring, spin or tumble dry. Do not use soap. Do not use detergent, bleach or any other cleaning agent as it will compromise the wax finish. Do not iron. Do not dry clean. Do not expose to high temperature heat source or any form of ignition.
